Self-funded by the landowners of the fantastic Upper Wensum Cluster Farm Group, Fish Pond is a really interesting pond with truly ancient banks. There are some beautiful old oaks and ash and some lovely Gypsywort all around the basin. There is an old outflow drain from the pond.
Prior to restoration the pond was 25-50% shaded and contained only an inch of water. The restoration took place on the 19th September 2019, with only the NPP contractors and Lizzie working as a small but efficient team.
